DR MARK IRELAND
M.B.B.S. (WA), F.R.A.C.P, F.C.S.A.N.Z
Mark graduated from UWA and trained in cardiology
in Perth and the UK. In 1982 he was appointed as staff specialist
in cardiology at Royal Perth Hospital and in 1989 commenced in
private practice with Bernard Hockings at the Mount Medical Centre.
During that time he continued as a visiting
specialist at Royal Perth Hospital and was involved in the establishment
of the cardiac transplant unit at that hospital.
Mark works as a general cardiologist with interests
in ischaemic heart disease and heart failure.
In early 1998 he was appointed as Visiting
Cardiologist at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. He currently consults
at the Mount, Murdoch, Midland, Joondalup, Augusta and Margaret
River.
