DR ISABEL TAN

Isabel trained in medicine at the University of Sydney, graduating with first class honours in 1998. She subsequently worked at The Canberra Hospital for several years before relocating to Perth. Postgraduate cardiology training was completed at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. In 2006 and 2007, Isabel undertook further specialised electrophysiology studies at The National Heart Centre in Singapore.
Aside from general cardiology, Isabel’s special interests are in cardiac rhythm disturbances. She performs electrophysiology studies and radiofrequency ablations. Isabel also has an interest in device-based management with pacemakers, defibrillators and cardiac resynchronisation.
Isabel currently works in private practice with the members of Heart Care Western Australia and consults at the Mount, Joondalup, Subiaco, Midland and Mandurah. She admits private patients to Joondalup Private Hospital and the Mount Hospital and public patients to Joondalup Health Campus.
